Ruth has her own successful company IVF treatment Abroad, but as a UK trained fertility specialist she is invaluable to us as our international coordinator for English speaking patients. After completing her general nursing training at the Royal London Hospital, London, she decided to specialize in the field of sub fertility treatments going on to work at the London Women's Clinic in Harley Street, 10 years as the senior nursing coordinator at St. Bartholomew's Hospital London and then at a small private clinic in Spain. In 2009 she set up IVF Treatment Abroad with her husband Simon, attracting patients from all over the world, predominantly the UK as well as other parts of Europe, but also the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, China and even South Korea.
My name is Ruth Pellow and I have been a fertility nurse specialist since 1991 having gained experience in Harley Street, London, St Bartholomew's Hospital, London and at a clinic in Spain. I am a member of the British Fertility Society and ESHRE. My husband Simon is my co-director and we have a daughter Emily who will be 17 in December. We also have our own pack of dogs, currently seven in number! These are 3 Spaniels, Ini, Merlin and Jasper. One Greek Hare hound called Millie and three tooty fruities, Maya, Eve and Dippa. We found Eve and Dippa abandoned outside our gate Christmas eve 2013 as the tiniest, cutest things you ever did see. They are not so small now!
I am committed to providing you with the best possible patient care that I can and to try and make the whole IVF process as simple and stress free as possible. You are far, far more than just a patient to me. You are a human being that is going through one of the hardest things it is possible to experience. Your emotions will be in turmoil and your hormones will be raging (and not just from the medications you will be on!) but I will be there as the voice of reason and calm and stability. You only need to read a few of the testimonials to see the positive relationships I have established with my patients.
